Your name (Poem)

your name

An evening
many summers ago
the sky became an art
created by our star
on the clouds
a floating canvas
drifting on a gentle breeze.

I stared mesmerized
as memories of your smile
and your voice
flooded my heart
filling me
completely
until it spilled
and escaped my lips
– your name.

Stolen by the wind
it was gone
and to fill the void
I breathed in empty air
which left me again
as a sigh.
